The river and woodland that line its banks are undoubtedly the biggest draw with animals dependent on the permanent water, lions and crocodiles are not unaware of this, and wait in anticipation of their next meal.
3 Day Chobe Lodge Stay
Chobe is not just a great introduction to Botswana. It also makes a rewarding repeat journey once you’ve ticked off the big stuff. It’s a place to search for the rare sable antelope, to spot that gem from the birders’ bucket list and to explore the remoter corners.
Today you will arrive at your Chobe lodge where you will get settled in to your accommodation and, if time permitting, you will have the opportunity to head out on an afternoon game activity. If not, you will simple have time to relax and enjoy the grounds of the lodge.
Lunch and Dinner included.
Today you will have the opportunity to head out on two activities, one in the early morning and one in the late afternoon. Lodges have a range of activities on offer including game drives, boat cruises on the Chobe River, cycling and village visits.
Chobe will leave you feeling tiny as giant elephant bulls stroll up next to your vehicle or snorkel alongside your boat. It will make you feel lost as hundreds of hippos and buffaloes crowd you out on the floodplains. It will put your heart in your throat as prides of lions stalk antelopes by the water’s edge, and it will leave you alone with your thoughts while the classic red sunsets melt over the river to a soundtrack of whistling fish eagles.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
After breakfast you will be transferred back through the park to Kasane airport for your onward flight.
3 Day Okavango Delta Stay
The Okavango Delta is an astonishing sight and one of the most magical places on the Planet. A mind-boggling 15,000 square kilometres of palm-fringed islands, thick woodland, intricate waterways, all resplendent with lavish vegetation and rich in wildlife. It is the largest intact inland delta in the world and one which will remain in your heart and soul forever.
On arrival into the local airstrip you will be met by a camp guide and transferred to your camp to get settled into your room. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to head out on an afternoon game viewing activity before returning to the camp for a delicious dinner.
Enjoy a full day on safari in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
The camps in this area offer variety of activities to choose from and usually you will join one morning and one afternoon activity. The delta’s watery heart is best discovered by mokoro through shallow channels and floodplains, as well as crossing the islands on foot.
The Okavango has many faces, which change throughout the year, prompted by that most unpredictable diva of all: the weather. Water levels rise and drop, expanding and shrinking islands, while animals move where the life is easiest and the grass greenest. In a few days, a sandy road driven by vehicle can become a waterway of unknowable depth, prompting a safari by boat instead.
Where and when you stay in the Okavango Delta will hugely influence what you do in the bush each day, the animals you’re most likely to see and finally, the safari experience you’ll have.Depending on your camp, activities can also offer fishing, game drives, boat safaris, village visits. Please check with us on all activities included in your chosen camp.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to head out on one final morning game viewing activity before breakfast at the camp and a transfer back to the local airstrip.
Arrive in Cape Town
On arrival into Cape Town Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Cape Town's most distinctive feature is its stunning setting: it lies on a dramatic coastline of pristine white beaches and ice waters, overlooked by the iconic flat-topped Table Mountain. Its attractions cover the natural world and the country's fascinating history in equal measure.
The tour commences with a pick up at your hotel between approximately 8.00am and 8:30am. Few places in the world possess the beauty and style of the historic and culturally vibrant city of Cape Town and today you will explore its historical beginnings to the colourful and vibrant melting pot it is today. The city shelters beneath the majestic backdrop of Table Mountain, which is flanked by the landmarks of Devils Peak, Lions Head and Signal Hill.
Every visit to Cape Town should commence with a journey to Table Mountain as the breathtaking views across the region are a superb way to familiarise yourself with your new surroundings. You will have the opportunity to take an optional cable car to the summit (cable car fee not included) before we return to the city and explore sights such as the impressive Company Gardens, the S. A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope, Greenmarket Square and the picturesque Bo-Kaap district.

The tour commences with a pick up at your hotel between approximately 8:00am and 8:30am. Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. You may have the option of doing a Seal Island boat trip (seasonal, weather permitting) (not included in cost). On through Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included in cost), go on to historic Simon's Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. You then make your way to visit the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The Garden is one of eight National Botanical Gardens covering five of South Africa's six different biomes. When Kirstenbosch, the most famous of the gardens, was founded in 1913 to preserve the country's unique flora, it was the first botanical garden in the world with this ethos. The garden is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape Flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. You will be returned to your hotel at approximately 17:30.
