Day 1: Arrival
Talofa and welcome to Samoa! On arrival transfer to resort, enjoy remainder of day at leisure on the beach or by the pool with a cocktail.
Day 2: Self Drive Island Explorations
Today you have the opportunity to explore some what this fascinating island has to offer. Hire a car and explore the Southern Coast of Samoa including the stunning To Sua Ocean Trench, an absolute must visit on any Samoan itinerary. Along the way stop at the pristine Lalomanu Beach and enjoy a cold drink between lazing on the white sand shore and dips in the crystal clear waters. Make your way back to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
This evening treat yourself to a traditional Samoan Fia Fia feast and cultural show.
Day 3: Self Drive Island Explorations
Whoever said don’t go chasing waterfalls? Today jump in your hire car and make your way around the island discovering some of Samoa’s best. We’d recommend paying a visit to Papapapaitai Waterfalls, Sopo’aga Falls and Togitogiga. The Papapapaitai is an impressively tall waterfall. Surrounded by lush jungle, the Sopo’aga viewpoint is often considered the prettiest waterfall. Togitogiga has two smaller waterfalls which create a large swimming hole where you can cool off under the falls – this is also a great spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. If you’re getting tired of waterfalls then Papase’ea sliding rocks is a waterfall with a difference, these natural rock slides have been polished smooth by thousands of years of running water. After you’ve had your fill of falls make your way back to your hotel for a relaxing evening at the resort.
Day 4: Day at leisure
Today enjoy a day by the beach or pool at your hotel indulging in nothing but sun, sea and relaxation – bliss! Tonight enjoy a local “Fia Fia” feast night at your hotel.
Day 5: Discover Apia
After a few days enjoying the natural wonders of Samoa today take your car and make your way to the bustling capital of Samoa, Apia. Apia has a great Flea Market which is well worth a visit and an excellent spot to stock up on local handicrafts. Next to the Flea Market is the Apia Fish Market, which has a huge range of fresh seafood from yellow-fin tuna to crabs, crayfish, octopus and masimasi. While in Apia don’t miss visiting Vailima, the historic former home of the author and adventurer Robert Louis Stevenson.
Day 6: Water activities
Today why not explore the beautiful waters of Samoa by kayak, stand up paddleboard or boat. Head out fishing, snorkelling or diving or even surfing.
Day 7: Day at leisure
Spend your last day on the island relaxing and enjoying this remote island paradise. Time for more sun, sea and relaxing.
Day 8: Depart
This morning you will check out of your hotel and depart Samoa for your flight home.
