Sacred Valley Community College Volunteer Program – Sol y Luna
Duration: 7 Days
In 1998 the Sol y Luna Community School was founded in the interest of providing local children who come from complicated backgrounds with conditions unfit for a child to grow up in, the opportunity to go to school. Teaching Quechua and English are two important aspects of the school’s mission. Your responsibility as a volunteer at the Sol y Luna Community School is to spend 3 hours per day in a class room with students speaking and conversing in English. The restaurant's four dining areas, and its cozy bar 'El Espigón', rising from the midst of the ocean, allow the visitor to enjoy a magical experience, which can only be possible in a place of fantasy, capriciously constructed in the middle of the sea.
